Walters' Alaskan Malamutes
Welcome to Walters' AKC Alaskan Malamutes...
We are a family home on 30 acres in Iowa that takes pride in raising quality Giant Alaskan Malamutes to approved homes for the past 4 years. We are blessed with four children ages 5 to 17 years, two cats, and a total of four dogs; three which are Alaskan Malamutes and Klowy our Chow/Sheppard mixed and fixed that you will see in some pictures. Our dogs are indoor and outdoor pets. They are not kenneled or tied up for permanent confinement. We take our Mals to numerous places in the car and socialize them regularly. The puppies are socialized from birth; with kids, cats, other dogs, car rides, and temperament control. We place our hands in their food bowls daily to prepare them for living in homes with kids. They will begin basic obedience training; walking on a leash, sit, come, and not jumping up on people. Buyers beware of Kennels that breed more than two differnt breeeds or have a large number of Adults that they breed. Think about it... There is no way to give that amount of dogs and puppies the proper attention and socialization that they need, before coming to your home. Proper SOCIALIZATION is the most important aspect for your new puppy! All of our adult dogs eat together and share the same bowls. The females get along well and of course they both love Jake our male. We strive to achieve the best temperament and calm nature of our Mals, for which will ease the transition of our Malamutes into your home and family. All of our puppies come with a two year health guarantee.
